Konnopke's Imbiss. It's a bit of a walk from Checkpoint Charlie, but totally worth it. Forget the fancy places, this is the real deal. No frills, just seriously good currywurst. You'll know you're in the right place when you see the queue – it's usually pretty long, but it moves quickly. Trust me on this one.

It's a mixed bag, honestly. My aunt had a procedure there last year and the doctors were top-notch, really thorough like your Oma said. But the waiting room... yeah, that's another story. It can get pretty packed, especially in the mornings. Three hours is possible, but I wouldn't count on a speedy in-and-out. Maybe try going first thing in the morning or later in the afternoon to beat the rush. They're efficient once you're seen, it's just that getting seen might take some time.
