Grunerstraße's Secret?

I… I was in Berlin for a friend's wedding and stumbled upon Grunerstraße completely by accident. It was buzzing, this amazing mix of street art, quirky shops, and little cafes overflowing with people. I spent hours just wandering, soaking it all in. The thing is, I saw this incredible mural, seriously, massive, stunning, but I couldn't find anything about the artist online. Anyone know who painted it? It was near that awesome falafel place, the one with the long queue.

lulu is a good guess but if the mural had a lot of tiny geometric patterns in the background like a hidden mandala it's prob by a guy named nils who works out of a studio on jägerstraße, he's got a very specific style of layering spray paint with stencils that looks almost woven. azzam's queue is actually part of the experience for me, standing there you can spot three other pieces you missed while you wait for that garlic sauce

If the falafel place with the long queue is the one on the corner of Grunerstraße and Krausnickstraße, you're thinking of Azzam. The mural you saw might be by an artist named BLU, he's got a massive piece on the side of that old brewery building a few doors down. He's Italian, not local, but his work pops up all over Berlin without much fanfare.

couple people have already guessed tasso and l'atlas but if the colors were really bright and kind of neon it might be by satone, he does those glitchy style pieces that look like a corrupted jpeg. he's around the area a lot, sometimes you'll spot him touching up old work with a spray can and a coffee from that tiny kiosk on the corner. azzam is fine but if you're near grunerstraße midweek try the yufka at pamfilya, same block, less hype and the bread is made fresh

What is the correct spelling for a street name that appears differently on multiple signs in Charlottenburg?

I noticed that the street name is spelled differently on three separate signs in the Charlottenburg area. Can anyone confirm the correct official spelling and whether this is a known issue? Worth noting that Berlin street names have official umlaut and ß rules that trip people up, so a sign showing "Strasse" versus "Straße" is not actually a spelling error, just an older transcription. Same with "ue" versus "ü" (e.g. "Kantstrasse" vs "Kantstraße"), both are considered valid renderings and you'll see the ß version on the blue Schilder and the ss version on older plaques or in databases that predate Unicode. If the difference you're seeing is between those two forms, there's nothing to fix and both are technically correct.

if the signs u mean are the old enamel ones on the house facades those are often protected as Baudenkmal so nobody's allowed to correct them even if the spelling is outdated. the binding version is whatever is in the Berliner Strassenverzeichnis plus the entry in the Liegenschaftskataster, so if u tell me the street i can point u to the right Bezirksamt Mitte or Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf page. tbh the merged district thing is real but the facade signs are a separate story, theyre basically museum pieces at this point

honestly thats super common in Charlottenburg, the district offices were merged from older Bezirke and nobody ever fixed all the Schilder. if its a real street you can check the official strassenverzeichnis on berlin.de, that list is what the Burgeramt actually goes by. which street is it? some of the Kaiserdamm / Kantstrasse signs are notorious for this.
