So, I'm heading to Intermezzo next week, heard it's the place for pasta in Berlin. My friend, a local, raved about their truffle ravioli. But she also mentioned something about a secret menu... supposedly only available if you know the right password? Anyone know what this password is or is this just one of those things people make up? Seriously curious, because truffle ravioli and mystery menus are my jam!!

I've been going to Intermezzo for years and the password thing is real but not how people describe it. The staff will sometimes offer you a taste of something off-menu if you're nice to them and ask about their day, it's more of a vibe check than a secret handshake. Try the pappardelle with porcini if it's in season, it beats the truffle ravioli in my book and you don't need any password for it.

honestly the carbonara on Thursdays is the real secret, not some password. i've had the truffle ravioli and it's great but the carbonara is something else, they use guanciale from that little shop on Torstraße. ask for it by name, "la carbonara del giovedi" and they'll know what you mean. the password thing is just people trying to sound cool after a few glasses of wine at Mauerpark

The secret menu thing pops up every few months on food forums. I've never heard anyone actually produce the password, just vague secondhand stories. The truffle ravioli is legit though, and they do a carbonara on Thursdays that isn't listed anywhere. Just ask for it.
