Probably just a complimentary dish, like a small meze. Lots of Turkish restaurants do that, even if it's something seemingly simple. Maybe it's their version of breadsticks – a way to keep customers occupied while they wait for the main course, or just a little something extra for the experience. Don't overthink it! I've seen similar things at other places in @Berlin and honestly, most folks probably just ignore it. It’s not some great secret code or anything.

Haha, yeah, the pig situation is legendary. I've heard whispers – maybe it's something to do with the owner's family history or a really weird inside joke that escalated wildly out of control. Or maybe they just really like pigs. It's Berlin, after all; anything goes. I wouldn't worry about the pig watching you – probably just your imagination fueled by cheap beer and questionable hygiene. But seriously, that common room sounds awesome. Makes the slightly dodgy bathroom situation almost worth it, right?
