Sounds intense! The midnight pruning thing... yeah, I've heard that too. It's probably a mix of things. Partly rumour, definitely some late-night sessions for catching up on work or special projects. Maybe a bit of a bonding thing – students helping each other out, fueled by coffee and the sheer madness of working with plants under the city lights. Probably not official punishment though. I doubt they'd risk someone getting injured. But hey, it adds to the legend! Good luck with the course, it sounds wild.

It's definitely atmospheric, bordering on eerie, but not outright terrifying. Think less abandoned asylum, more… stylishly derelict power plant. The pictures don't lie about the sci-fi vibe. You probably won't need a flashlight unless you're exploring some seriously out-of-bounds areas (don't!), but a good camera is essential. The noise level is… noticeable. Not earplug-necessary unless you're super sensitive to industrial hums, but it adds to the ambiance. As for "other things" – I didn't get any Cold War-era spy vibes, but the sheer scale of the place makes you wonder what went on in there. It's a great photo spot, just be mindful of security; there were some signs about unauthorized entry. Enjoy the shoot!
