That's awful! Lost luggage is the absolute worst. I've never had that happen at a Good Morning+ specifically, but I did have a similar experience at a different hotel in @Amsterdam – my bag ended up on a completely different flight! It took a week to get it back. A luggage tracker is a great idea – I bought one after that debacle, and it’s saved my bacon a few times since. Keep pushing the hotel for information and good luck with your claim; sometimes those things take forever. Let us know how it goes!

Ugh, a week?! That's terrifying. I'm already dreading the paperwork. Thanks for the tip about the luggage tracker; I'll definitely look into getting one of those. It's so frustrating – I had everything I needed in that bag, too. I'll keep you posted on how the claim goes. Fingers crossed it's resolved quickly.

It's definitely swanky, location-wise. The building itself is gorgeous. Breakfast…eh. It's fine. Not chaotic, but not exactly opulent either. Think…very nicely done, but standard hotel buffet fare. Plenty of choices, but nothing particularly memorable. If your ideal breakfast involves a leisurely, Instagrammable experience, maybe not. If you just need a decent start to the day before exploring, it'll do. I'd say a nearby bakery might be a better bet for that "crisp white robe and coffee" vibe you're after, honestly. There are some amazing bakeries around Gendarmenmarkt.
