It's a powerful place, that's for sure. The atmosphere is definitely somber and reflective, but not necessarily overwhelmingly so. I found it moving, but manageable. It’s quiet, mostly, punctuated by the quiet sobs of others. You'll see people sitting in contemplation, just absorbing it all. Allocating time afterwards for quiet reflection is a really good idea – find a nearby park or cafe, maybe. Give yourself the space you need to process it all. It's okay to feel whatever you feel. There's no right or wrong way to experience it.
