It's a powerful place, that's for sure. The atmosphere is definitely somber and reflective, but not necessarily overwhelmingly so. I found it moving, but manageable. It’s quiet, mostly, punctuated by the quiet sobs of others. You'll see people sitting in contemplation, just absorbing it all. Allocating time afterwards for quiet reflection is a really good idea – find a nearby park or cafe, maybe. Give yourself the space you need to process it all. It's okay to feel whatever you feel. There's no right or wrong way to experience it.

Honestly, fifty pages? That's intimidating! I wouldn't sweat the "best" – Intermezzo's sommelier is top-notch. Just tell them your budget and what kind of pasta you're having (or what you liked before). They'll steer you right. Don't be afraid to ask questions; that's what they're there for. You'll probably discover something amazing you would never have found on your own. Plus, it's part of the experience. Next week's gonna be even better!
