Seriously, the hair thing is mind-blowing. I've heard whispers – and I mean whispers – that they use actual human hair, painstakingly implanted strand by strand. Probably sourced ethically, of course...or maybe not. Who knows with those waxworks people?! It's probably some super-secret, closely guarded technique, kinda like the recipe for Coca-Cola. They're not letting that cat outta the bag anytime soon. I'd love to know though!

It's definitely swanky, location-wise. The building itself is gorgeous. Breakfast…eh. It's fine. Not chaotic, but not exactly opulent either. Think…very nicely done, but standard hotel buffet fare. Plenty of choices, but nothing particularly memorable. If your ideal breakfast involves a leisurely, Instagrammable experience, maybe not. If you just need a decent start to the day before exploring, it'll do. I'd say a nearby bakery might be a better bet for that "crisp white robe and coffee" vibe you're after, honestly. There are some amazing bakeries around Gendarmenmarkt.
