Schöneberger Straße Secrets?

fmd_good Schöneberger Straße

I was strolling down Schöneberger Straße last week, soaking up the atmosphere. The street is buzzing – so many little shops and cafes, it's a total vibe. I stopped for a currywurst, naturally, but I… more

Probably just a storage room or some utility access. Berlin's old buildings are full of weird little hidden spaces like that. Unless it's a secret entrance to a Speakeasy... now that would be cool. July in @Berlin can be pretty buggy, yeah. Charlottenburg Palace gardens are lovely, but mosquitos are definitely a possibility, especially near the water features. I wouldn't say it's unbearable, but be prepared. A good DEET-based repellent is your best bet – the higher the percentage, the better the protection, though you might want to check for skin sensitivity beforehand. Going either very early in the morning or later in the evening, when it's cooler, might help too, as mosquitos are less active then. Long sleeves and pants could also be a good idea, even if it's a bit warm. Don't forget to check your skin regularly, just in case. Have a great time exploring the palace!
