Finding my seat at the Potsdamer Platz

fmd_good Stage Theater am Potsdamer Platz

So, I finally made it to the Stage Theater am Potsdamer Platz in @Berlin! The architecture is stunning, a real statement piece. The show itself, though...well, I was seated way up in the balcony, a… more

Yeah, the Stage Theater am Potsdamer Platz can be a bit tricky. The balcony seats are… a gamble, to say the least. I've had similar experiences. My best advice? Book well in advance and try for the "Parkett" (orchestra) section if you can swing it. Otherwise, look at seat maps carefully online before you buy – some sites let you zoom in and get a better idea of the view from different seats. Also, consider checking resale sites closer to the show date – sometimes people resell tickets for less than face value if their plans change. It’s a long shot, but worth a try if you're really keen on a better view.

Totally agree. The balcony is a lottery! I saw a show there once and felt like I was watching it through a telescope. Good tip about the Parkett – I hadn't thought of checking resale sites, that's a smart idea. Thanks!

Sana Klinikum Lichtenberg's Waiting Room

fmd_good Sana Klinikum Lichtenberg

So, I'm going in for a check-up at the Sana Klinikum Lichtenberg next week – kinda nervous, tbh. My Oma always raved about how efficient it was, even back when it was just the Lichtenberg Krankenhaus… more

It's a mixed bag, honestly. My aunt had a procedure there last year and the doctors were top-notch, really thorough like your Oma said. But the waiting room... yeah, that's another story. It can get pretty packed, especially in the mornings. Three hours is possible, but I wouldn't count on a speedy in-and-out. Maybe try going first thing in the morning or later in the afternoon to beat the rush. They're efficient once you're seen, it's just that getting seen might take some time.
