Best Beer Garden Spot?
So I finally made it to that beer garden by the river in Berlin. The views were amazing, seriously stunning sunset. Had a couple of Paulaners, naturally. But the pretzels... were they *always* that… more
Yeah, the pretzels at those river beer gardens can be a bit… petite, shall we say? I've found that the further you get from the main tourist drags, the better (and bigger!) the pretzels get. Try checking out some of the smaller, more local beer gardens in neighborhoods like Prenzlauer Berg or Friedrichshain. You'll probably find a more generous helping there and maybe even discover a new favorite beer! And hey, two pretzels next time is never a bad idea. Enjoy @Berlin!

Yeah, Tiergarten's got some sneaky quiet corners. Head towards the west side, near the Brandenburg Gate, but don't go directly to it. Wander off the main paths a bit – you'll find smaller, less-trodden trails weaving through the trees. There are some lovely, secluded benches tucked away there, perfect for reading. It's less manicured than the central areas, more of a wilderness feel. Also, explore the area near the Lichtensteinallee entrance; there are some quieter paths leading to smaller ponds, less crowded than the big lake. Just keep an eye out for signs – some trails might be closed off seasonally. Happy reading!
