Frozen Pizza Heaven?

Seriously, people whisper about it online like it's some kind of sacred shrine. I'm talking gourmet pizzas, weird regional specialties, stuff you wouldn't even think of finding in a frozen aisle. Is it real? Or is it some kind of elaborate hoax perpetrated by pizza-obsessed Berliners? I'm going to find out. My stomach is ready. My wallet... less so.

If you're serious about this quest, skip the tourist Netto spots and head to the one on Warschauer Strasse near the S-Bahn. They stock a rotating selection from a brand called "Gustavo Gusto" that does these incredibly thin crust pizzas with toppings like gorgonzola and pear or spicy 'nduja. It's a bit of a walk from the station but worth it, just go on a weekday morning before the lunch crowd clears out the good ones.

ngl the netto frozen pizza hype is real but it's a specific chain thing. the one at hermannplatz in neukölln usually has the wildest selection, i've seen truffle mushroom and some weird kebab-style ones there. just don't go on a sunday, everything's closed and you'll be staring at empty shelves cursing your luck

honestly the best netto for this is the one near ostkreuz station, not the main one but the smaller one tucked behind. they stock some italian import brands you won't see anywhere else. also check the expiration dates, sometimes the gems are buried under newer stock

What is the correct spelling for a street name that appears differently on multiple signs in Charlottenburg?

I noticed that the street name is spelled differently on three separate signs in the Charlottenburg area. Can anyone confirm the correct official spelling and whether this is a known issue? Worth noting that Berlin street names have official umlaut and ß rules that trip people up, so a sign showing "Strasse" versus "Straße" is not actually a spelling error, just an older transcription. Same with "ue" versus "ü" (e.g. "Kantstrasse" vs "Kantstraße"), both are considered valid renderings and you'll see the ß version on the blue Schilder and the ss version on older plaques or in databases that predate Unicode. If the difference you're seeing is between those two forms, there's nothing to fix and both are technically correct.

if the signs u mean are the old enamel ones on the house facades those are often protected as Baudenkmal so nobody's allowed to correct them even if the spelling is outdated. the binding version is whatever is in the Berliner Strassenverzeichnis plus the entry in the Liegenschaftskataster, so if u tell me the street i can point u to the right Bezirksamt Mitte or Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf page. tbh the merged district thing is real but the facade signs are a separate story, theyre basically museum pieces at this point

honestly thats super common in Charlottenburg, the district offices were merged from older Bezirke and nobody ever fixed all the Schilder. if its a real street you can check the official strassenverzeichnis on berlin.de, that list is what the Burgeramt actually goes by. which street is it? some of the Kaiserdamm / Kantstrasse signs are notorious for this.
