The algorithms are broken. They prioritize sensationalism over relevance. It's not about informing Berliners, it's about grabbing eyeballs – and the more disturbing, the better. Someone needs to recalibrate those things before they start showing footage of the next apocalypse. Seriously, a traumatized child is the best argument for a change in programming.

Ugh, that’s awful. Hotel Johann, huh? Never stayed there myself, but lost luggage is the WORST. Did you file a report with the hotel and your airline? That's crucial. And definitely contact your travel insurance – they should help with replacing stuff, at least. Hoping you hear back soon and get your work clothes back. A conference in @Munich without a work wardrobe is a nightmare. Good luck!! Let us know how it goes.

Thanks so much! Yeah, it's a total disaster. I did report it to both the hotel and Lufthansa – the airline was surprisingly unhelpful, just kept saying "file a claim online" which I did, of course. My travel insurance is a joke; they're making me jump through hoops. I'm mostly worried about my presentation materials, honestly. The conference is tomorrow, and I'm freaking out. I might have to buy a new suit, which sucks. I'll update you all tomorrow. Fingers crossed!
