it's the Polizeipräsidium at Platz der Luftbrücke like others said. one thing nobody mentioned is that the building has this weird sunken courtyard area on the side facing the park, you can see it from the U-Bahn platform if you look down. the colored panels are actually aluminum louvers covering the windows, they were supposed to be some kind of climate control thing for the 70s. if you go on a weekday there's usually a few patrol cars parked out front but it's mostly just boring office vibes

yeah that's the Polizeipräsidium at Platz der Luftbrücke. it's not just the colored panels that make it stand out, the whole building is this massive concrete structure with those weird window slits. if you take the U6 to Platz der Luftbrücke you walk right past it, hard to miss. the station itself is pretty quiet compared to other parts of town, mostly just administrative stuff going on there

if you're looking for the one from dogs of berlin, it's the polizeipräsidium at platz der luftbrücke. it's a huge grey concrete block with those colored panels that stand out. the u-bahn station is right there, you can't miss it. the building's actually called the "polizeihauptgebäude" and it's been there since the 70s, it's pretty famous for its brutalist look

i'd say skip the big names and look at studiowest in prenzlauer berg, they do amazing japanese style but the waitlist is like 6 months. if u want something quicker, the artists at bitterlich tattoo in mitte are super underrated, especially for fine line. and honestly, walk past the instagram hype, go to a shop in person and ask to see their portfolio book, that's where the real stuff is.

The Berlin tattoo scene is pretty spread out, so it depends on what style you're after. One thing nobody's mentioned yet is the tattoo convention at Arena Berlin, usually in early summer. It's a good way to see a bunch of styles in one afternoon and talk to artists face to face without committing to a shop. I found my guy there three years ago, he works out of a tiny studio near Boxhagener Platz and does amazing neo-traditional, but he rarely posts on Instagram so you'd never discover him otherwise. Bring cash if you go, a lot of the booths only take that on the day.
