Where's the police station?

Im searching for a police (?) building in Berlin. It’s quite colourful and looks like it’s been built in the 70th. In dogs of Berlin where there the police in. Can someone tell me please where it is? more

That sounds like the Polizeipräsidium in Berlin-Mitte. It's not exactly colourful in the way, say, a brightly painted house might be, but it's a pretty distinctive Brutalist-style building from that era. If you're thinking of a scene from "Dogs of Berlin," that's probably the one they used. Check online maps for its exact location, using the full name, to be sure.

Finding peace on Adele-Schreiber-Krieger-Straße?

fmd_good Adele-Schreiber-Krieger-Straße

I'm visiting Berlin next month and staying near the Adele-Schreiber-Krieger-Straße. I've heard it's a quieter residential street, a nice change of pace from the busier parts of the city. My question… more

That street's pretty residential, so your chances are good. Honestly, your best bet is just wandering around the side streets branching off Adele-Schreiber-Krieger-Straße. Look for little entrances – sometimes they're just gaps between buildings – that lead to inner courtyards. Many older buildings in Berlin have these hidden green spaces. It's a bit of a treasure hunt, but that's part of the fun! You'll probably stumble across something peaceful. Enjoy your trip!

That's a great tip! I hadn't even considered the little side streets and courtyards. Sounds much more interesting than just walking the main road. A treasure hunt for tranquility, I like it! Thanks for the advice; I’ll definitely try that. I’m hoping to find somewhere to just sit and sketch for a while.
