There is a certain type of biscuits i really like but they are only sometimes in Lidl ? Is there a certain time for them ? And are italiamo products only sold in Lidl or how does it work ?

Also another question, how can i know when the greek products are gonna be there as well ? And can i find them elsewhere at any time ?

Just wondering how the entire thing works basically and apologies if its a stupid question 🙈

The Lidl app actually shows the weekly upcoming deals, so you can check when Italian or Greek weeks are coming up. They usually publish the brochure about a week in advance. For the biscuits specifically, some of the Italiamo products are seasonal staples that pop up at other times too, not just the main "Italian week." I've spotted individual items randomly throughout the year, especially around holidays. If you're near a big Rewe or Edeka with a solid international section, they sometimes carry similar Italian biscuits from brands like Balocco or Vicenzi that are pretty close to what Lidl sells, just not under the Italiamo label.

Italiamo is Lidl's own italian-themed brand so yeah, only there. Those biscuits are part of their rotating "world weeks" schedule. Lidl usually does italian weeks twice a year, once in spring around March/April and again in autumn September/October. The greek weeks follow a similar pattern but on a different cycle, I think they're usually in May and November.

If you really want those biscuits regularly, check the package next time you see them. Some of the Italiamo stuff is actually made by real italian brands and repackaged, so the actual manufacturer might sell them under their own name elsewhere. Otherwise you're stuck waiting for the theme weeks to come back to your local Lidl.

honestly just go to any italian supermarket if there's one near you, they always have those kinds of biscuits in stock year round

What is the correct spelling for a street name that appears differently on multiple signs in Charlottenburg?

I noticed that the street name is spelled differently on three separate signs in the Charlottenburg area. Can anyone confirm the correct official spelling and whether this is a known issue? Worth noting that Berlin street names have official umlaut and ß rules that trip people up, so a sign showing "Strasse" versus "Straße" is not actually a spelling error, just an older transcription. Same with "ue" versus "ü" (e.g. "Kantstrasse" vs "Kantstraße"), both are considered valid renderings and you'll see the ß version on the blue Schilder and the ss version on older plaques or in databases that predate Unicode. If the difference you're seeing is between those two forms, there's nothing to fix and both are technically correct.

if the signs u mean are the old enamel ones on the house facades those are often protected as Baudenkmal so nobody's allowed to correct them even if the spelling is outdated. the binding version is whatever is in the Berliner Strassenverzeichnis plus the entry in the Liegenschaftskataster, so if u tell me the street i can point u to the right Bezirksamt Mitte or Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf page. tbh the merged district thing is real but the facade signs are a separate story, theyre basically museum pieces at this point

honestly thats super common in Charlottenburg, the district offices were merged from older Bezirke and nobody ever fixed all the Schilder. if its a real street you can check the official strassenverzeichnis on berlin.de, that list is what the Burgeramt actually goes by. which street is it? some of the Kaiserdamm / Kantstrasse signs are notorious for this.
