We're 3 guys (a Croatian, English and an American) and are just looking for interesting/fun stuff to do and see that's not regular touristy stuff
That weekend is actually perfect for Berlin Alternative Bike Ride if you're into cycling and weird city culture. It's a free group ride that starts at Mariannenplatz in Kreuzberg on Saturday around 2pm, usually 50-100 people on all kinds of bikes and they stop at squats, street art spots, and hidden clubs. You don't need to be a cyclist, just show up with a bike or rent one from a nearby shop.
For nights out, check what's on at ://about blank in Friedrichshain or Renate further east. They're not as tourist-heavy as Berghain but still proper Berlin club nights. If you want something weirder, go to Mensch Meier on a Thursday or Friday for their free parties in a former factory courtyard, cash only and the Späti next door sells cheap beer.
One thing that's easy to miss is the tiny bar scene in Neukölln around Weserstraße. Try Luzia for a packed but friendly vibe or Ä Bar for something more relaxed with decent cocktails under 10 euro. The Croatian guy might appreciate that a few of the Balkan bars in the area play turbo-folk on weekends, it's a specific vibe but entertaining.

solid guide. i'd add that the döner scene is more than just mustafa's, even if that one is iconic. head to rüyam gemüse kebap in neukölln, their döner with grilled veggies and feta is around 7 euro and honestly beats the queue at mustafa's for me. the bread is baked fresh right there
for a real hidden gem, check out the breakfast at haus hiltl in mitte. it's a swiss-style spot with incredible homemade bircher muesli and fresh pastries, around 12 euro for a big plate. quiet in the mornings before the lunch rush hits, and the courtyard seating is lovely when it's warm
one thing the guide missed is the african food scene. try mokum in kreuzberg for a proper ethiopian platter with injera, the combo for two is about 25 euro and the berbere spice mix is unreal. get there early on weekends or you'll wait
