TICKET LOTTERY HOUSE BERLIN - What kind of scam is this?

https://tickethouse.store/

Buy a ticket for 5€ and you can win a house in Neukölln? Seriously? When 300,000 tickets are sold, they'll will announce the winner.

Yeah, that site is definitely not legit. Ticket House Berlin isn't a real company you'd find registered here, and no one is giving away a Neukölln apartment for a 5€ ticket. The math doesn't work either, 300,000 tickets at 5€ is 1.5 million, way above what a normal flat in that area costs, so they'd be pocketing a huge chunk. If you want to enter actual housing lotteries in Berlin, stick to the official ones through the Bezirksämter or known platforms like Wohnungstauschbörse, but even those have long waiting lists and aren't this cheap.

It's almost definitely a scam. Nobody is raffling off a whole apartment for 5 euros, and that domain was only registered a few months ago. If you really want a shot at a cheap flat, look into the official WBS or Genossenschaften instead.

honestly i checked their imprint and there's no legit company behind it, just a random dude's name. plus the whole thing screams "we'll take your money and disappear". fwiw if u want to win something in berlin, stick to the real bezirksamt lotteries

Best tattoo artist in town?

arrow_drop_up 67 arrow_drop_down

i'd say skip the big names and look at studiowest in prenzlauer berg, they do amazing japanese style but the waitlist is like 6 months. if u want something quicker, the artists at bitterlich tattoo in mitte are super underrated, especially for fine line. and honestly, walk past the instagram hype, go to a shop in person and ask to see their portfolio book, that's where the real stuff is.

The Berlin tattoo scene is pretty spread out, so it depends on what style you're after. For fine line and minimalist work, I'd look at A Fine Line in Kreuzberg, they're booked out weeks in advance for a reason. If you want bold traditional, check out Die Wilde Ecke in Neukölln, they've been around forever and the artists there are solid. Honestly, your best bet is to scroll through Instagram and find someone whose healed work you like, not just the fresh photos, because that's where the real skill shows.

One thing nobody's mentioned yet is the tattoo convention at Arena Berlin, usually in early summer. It's a good way to see a bunch of styles in one afternoon and talk to artists face to face without committing to a shop. I found my guy there three years ago, he works out of a tiny studio near Boxhagener Platz and does amazing neo-traditional, but he rarely posts on Instagram so you'd never discover him otherwise. Bring cash if you go, a lot of the booths only take that on the day.
