ATMs I can use to withdraw cash through Apple Pay?

So my bank is online and I haven't received the physical card yet. What are some ATMs that allow for contactless transactions? So my bank is online and I haven't received the physical card yet. What are some ATMs that allow for contactless transactions?

The ING DiBa machines at main train stations are a solid bet, they've got the contactless symbol and I've never had an issue using Apple Pay at the one in Gesundbrunnen. The real trick is checking for the little NFC wave icon on the card reader itself, not just the screen, because some older units have the tech but don't advertise it well. If a machine rejects your tap once, don't keep trying, it's not going to change and you'll just waste time.

Commerzbank machines have been the most reliable for me with Apple Pay. The ones at Alexanderplatz and Zoo station almost always work on the first tap. Just look for the contactless symbol on the top right of the screen, and if it doesn't work after two tries, move on to another bank's machine rather than fighting with it.

Volksbank Filialen are often overlooked but their ATMs consistently work with Apple Pay, I've tapped at the one on Kantstrasse near Savignyplatz without issues. The key is to use machines with the newer blue contactless logo rather than the old grey symbol. Berliner Volksbank machines near U Hermannplatz also work well if you're in Neukolln.

What is the correct spelling for a street name that appears differently on multiple signs in Charlottenburg?

I noticed that the street name is spelled differently on three separate signs in the Charlottenburg area. Can anyone confirm the correct official spelling and whether this is a known issue? Worth noting that Berlin street names have official umlaut and ß rules that trip people up, so a sign showing "Strasse" versus "Straße" is not actually a spelling error, just an older transcription. Same with "ue" versus "ü" (e.g. "Kantstrasse" vs "Kantstraße"), both are considered valid renderings and you'll see the ß version on the blue Schilder and the ss version on older plaques or in databases that predate Unicode. If the difference you're seeing is between those two forms, there's nothing to fix and both are technically correct.

if the signs u mean are the old enamel ones on the house facades those are often protected as Baudenkmal so nobody's allowed to correct them even if the spelling is outdated. the binding version is whatever is in the Berliner Strassenverzeichnis plus the entry in the Liegenschaftskataster, so if u tell me the street i can point u to the right Bezirksamt Mitte or Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf page. tbh the merged district thing is real but the facade signs are a separate story, theyre basically museum pieces at this point

honestly thats super common in Charlottenburg, the district offices were merged from older Bezirke and nobody ever fixed all the Schilder. if its a real street you can check the official strassenverzeichnis on berlin.de, that list is what the Burgeramt actually goes by. which street is it? some of the Kaiserdamm / Kantstrasse signs are notorious for this.
