Question for Ladies; best clothing stores to buy dresses?

Specifically looking for fun slit dresses and similar styles. What will be the best clothing stores in Berlin where she can try bunch of these dresses on for me to pick what i like on her? The budget is around 200-300 per dress. Please let me know of all the suggestions you have. Appreciate all the help.

Head to the area around Nollendorfplatz in Schoneberg. There's a shop called Malaika on Motzstraße that specializes in exactly this kind of thing, lots of fitted dresses with dramatic slits and cutouts, and their prices land right in your budget. The owner is usually around to help style things and doesn't hover. For a different vibe, walk over to Frau Mittenmang on Goltzstraße, they have a curated rack of party dresses that are more playful and often have unique slit placements, though the selection is smaller so it's more of a bonus stop.

honestly if you're near hackescher markt, check out sultan of berlin on rosenstraße. they have a lot of those slit dresses and bodycon stuff that's kinda fun and flashy, prices sit right around your budget. also try & other stories on torstraße, they usually have a few party picks that are more subtle but still cute.

for something a bit more unique, viktoria & wood in mitte has some nice slit dresses too but it's pricier so you might catch something on sale. and if you have time, hit up primark at alexanderplatz for basic options under 50 euros, just to have a backup if nothing else works out

The area around Weinmeisterstrasse in Mitte has a few spots that work well for this. St. Hedwig on Alte Schonhauser has some good party dresses with interesting cuts and slits, usually around 250 euros. Down the street at Superconscious you'll find more draped styles that are a bit more wearable for dancing or dinner. Both let you try things on without feeling rushed.

What is the correct spelling for a street name that appears differently on multiple signs in Charlottenburg?

I noticed that the street name is spelled differently on three separate signs in the Charlottenburg area. Can anyone confirm the correct official spelling and whether this is a known issue? Worth noting that Berlin street names have official umlaut and ß rules that trip people up, so a sign showing "Strasse" versus "Straße" is not actually a spelling error, just an older transcription. Same with "ue" versus "ü" (e.g. "Kantstrasse" vs "Kantstraße"), both are considered valid renderings and you'll see the ß version on the blue Schilder and the ss version on older plaques or in databases that predate Unicode. If the difference you're seeing is between those two forms, there's nothing to fix and both are technically correct.

if the signs u mean are the old enamel ones on the house facades those are often protected as Baudenkmal so nobody's allowed to correct them even if the spelling is outdated. the binding version is whatever is in the Berliner Strassenverzeichnis plus the entry in the Liegenschaftskataster, so if u tell me the street i can point u to the right Bezirksamt Mitte or Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf page. tbh the merged district thing is real but the facade signs are a separate story, theyre basically museum pieces at this point

honestly thats super common in Charlottenburg, the district offices were merged from older Bezirke and nobody ever fixed all the Schilder. if its a real street you can check the official strassenverzeichnis on berlin.de, that list is what the Burgeramt actually goes by. which street is it? some of the Kaiserdamm / Kantstrasse signs are notorious for this.
