(except of wertvoll in P-Berg, they don't have the bag I want). I'm not sure if the bag would suit me and I'm not the biggest fan of buying stuff online to try it on and send back in case I don't like it. Thanks!

Theres a spot called the store at kiosk on weserstr in neukölln that has ölend sometimes. small selection but they rotate often and the owner actually knows the brands so she can tell you if the bag fits weird or not. also if ur near alex, the concept store inside the hackescher markt complex carries them sporadically, i saw a tote there last month

try the store at silberstein in friedrichshain, they had a small ölend display last time i was there near the register. not a huge selection but they usually have a couple models out to actually handle. also the concept store at weinbergsweg in mitte sometimes stocks them but it's hit or miss, i'd call first to save the trip if you're coming from far

Honestly, just hit up Hallesches Haus in Kreuzberg. They stock a rotating selection of bags from smaller Berlin brands including Ölend sometimes. Call ahead tho, their stock changes fast and they might have the one you're looking for. Otherwise, the Concept Store at Boxhagener Platz in Friedrichshain is worth a shot, they carry similar leather goods and you can actually touch the stuff before buying.

What is the correct spelling for a street name that appears differently on multiple signs in Charlottenburg?

I noticed that the street name is spelled differently on three separate signs in the Charlottenburg area. Can anyone confirm the correct official spelling and whether this is a known issue? Worth noting that Berlin street names have official umlaut and ß rules that trip people up, so a sign showing "Strasse" versus "Straße" is not actually a spelling error, just an older transcription. Same with "ue" versus "ü" (e.g. "Kantstrasse" vs "Kantstraße"), both are considered valid renderings and you'll see the ß version on the blue Schilder and the ss version on older plaques or in databases that predate Unicode. If the difference you're seeing is between those two forms, there's nothing to fix and both are technically correct.

if the signs u mean are the old enamel ones on the house facades those are often protected as Baudenkmal so nobody's allowed to correct them even if the spelling is outdated. the binding version is whatever is in the Berliner Strassenverzeichnis plus the entry in the Liegenschaftskataster, so if u tell me the street i can point u to the right Bezirksamt Mitte or Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf page. tbh the merged district thing is real but the facade signs are a separate story, theyre basically museum pieces at this point

honestly thats super common in Charlottenburg, the district offices were merged from older Bezirke and nobody ever fixed all the Schilder. if its a real street you can check the official strassenverzeichnis on berlin.de, that list is what the Burgeramt actually goes by. which street is it? some of the Kaiserdamm / Kantstrasse signs are notorious for this.
