Hello All,

Is there any website to find startup jobs for software working student positions (in Berlin or Germany)?

How to get the list of startups so that I can also make individual applications in their career site?

Thank you.

honestly just go to some of the tech meetups in person, like the berlinjs or python user group events. founders and devs from small startups hang out there and will tell you directly if they need a werkstudent. way faster than cold applying on their career sites, half of those are outdated anyway.

also try the "Startup Jobs" telegram groups for Berlin, they're surprisingly active and less filtered than linkedin. just search for "Berlin Startup Jobs" in telegram and you'll find a few channels with direct postings from founders.

The best way to find smaller startups that don't advertise is to scrape the "Startup Jobs" board on AngelList or just browse Crunchbase's list of Berlin-based seed-stage companies. Most of those will have a "Careers" link right on their homepage, and you can shoot an email directly to the founder since they usually handle hiring themselves.

Check out berlinstartupjobs.com, it's been around for years and actually filters for the startup scene specifically. For the direct application route, I'd grab the Startup Map Berlin PDF from the Berlin Partner site, it lists hundreds of companies with their addresses and usually a career page link. Just be aware that a lot of smaller startups don't advertise working student roles publicly, so a short, direct email to their hiring manager or CTO can work better than applying through their careers portal.

Best tattoo artist in town?

i'd say skip the big names and look at studiowest in prenzlauer berg, they do amazing japanese style but the waitlist is like 6 months. if u want something quicker, the artists at bitterlich tattoo in mitte are super underrated, especially for fine line. and honestly, walk past the instagram hype, go to a shop in person and ask to see their portfolio book, that's where the real stuff is.

The Berlin tattoo scene is pretty spread out, so it depends on what style you're after. For fine line and minimalist work, I'd look at A Fine Line in Kreuzberg, they're booked out weeks in advance for a reason. If you want bold traditional, check out Die Wilde Ecke in Neukölln, they've been around forever and the artists there are solid. Honestly, your best bet is to scroll through Instagram and find someone whose healed work you like, not just the fresh photos, because that's where the real skill shows.

One thing nobody's mentioned yet is the tattoo convention at Arena Berlin, usually in early summer. It's a good way to see a bunch of styles in one afternoon and talk to artists face to face without committing to a shop. I found my guy there three years ago, he works out of a tiny studio near Boxhagener Platz and does amazing neo-traditional, but he rarely posts on Instagram so you'd never discover him otherwise. Bring cash if you go, a lot of the booths only take that on the day.
