How can I better protect my keller?

Is there anything additional we can do to make it tougher for these thieves? Additional locks are difficult because it won't go through thegaps between the panels of the keller door. Maybe an alarm, like those on bikes/motorcycles might be a deterrent?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

One thing that often gets overlooked is how the thieves are getting into the building in the first place. If the main Hauseingangstür doesn't latch properly or someone's propping it open for deliveries, all the Keller locks in the world won't help. I'd suggest talking to your Hausverwaltung about upgrading the entry door's automatic closer or installing a Gegensprechanlage that requires a key fob to open the inner door.

Also, consider the lighting in the stairwell leading down to the Keller. If it's on a timer that only stays on for 30 seconds, thieves just wait for it to click off before they work. A simple switch to a motion sensor with a longer delay, say two minutes, makes a big difference because they can't predict when it'll go dark on them.

you could also try a simple time lock on the main keller door, like the ones they use in storage units. forces them to wait around which they hate doing

Yeah the motion light thing is good advice. Another thing that helped in our building was reinforcing the actual door frames, not just the locks. Thieves in our area were just prying the whole frame open with a crowbar, so we added metal plates around the strike plates and hinges. It's a cheap fix and makes a huge difference.

What is the correct spelling for a street name that appears differently on multiple signs in Charlottenburg?

I noticed that the street name is spelled differently on three separate signs in the Charlottenburg area. Can anyone confirm the correct official spelling and whether this is a known issue? Worth noting that Berlin street names have official umlaut and ß rules that trip people up, so a sign showing "Strasse" versus "Straße" is not actually a spelling error, just an older transcription. Same with "ue" versus "ü" (e.g. "Kantstrasse" vs "Kantstraße"), both are considered valid renderings and you'll see the ß version on the blue Schilder and the ss version on older plaques or in databases that predate Unicode. If the difference you're seeing is between those two forms, there's nothing to fix and both are technically correct.

if the signs u mean are the old enamel ones on the house facades those are often protected as Baudenkmal so nobody's allowed to correct them even if the spelling is outdated. the binding version is whatever is in the Berliner Strassenverzeichnis plus the entry in the Liegenschaftskataster, so if u tell me the street i can point u to the right Bezirksamt Mitte or Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf page. tbh the merged district thing is real but the facade signs are a separate story, theyre basically museum pieces at this point

honestly thats super common in Charlottenburg, the district offices were merged from older Bezirke and nobody ever fixed all the Schilder. if its a real street you can check the official strassenverzeichnis on berlin.de, that list is what the Burgeramt actually goes by. which street is it? some of the Kaiserdamm / Kantstrasse signs are notorious for this.
