Is DB Monatskarte Fahrrad also valid on u-bahn?

Hello Leute, I bought a DB Monatskarte Fahrrad and I was wondering if I can use for every public transport . U-bahn, S-bahn and DB trains Hello Leute, I bought a DB Monatskarte Fahrrad and I was wondering if I can use for every public transport . U-bahn, S-bahn and DB trains

tbh you're good for most things but just a heads up the DB Monatskarte Fahrrad is technically a DB product so some BVG ticket inspectors might give u a weird look on the u-bahn even though it's valid. I've had one try to tell me I needed a separate BVG bike ticket once but I just pointed to the fine print on the back and he backed off. also worth knowing it covers the S-Bahn but not the RE or RB trains outside the city zone, so if you're heading to Potsdam you might need an extra ticket for the regional stuff

it works on everything in the abc zones including u-bahn, no worries. just keep in mind the bike ticket only covers the bike, not you, so make sure you have your own monthly or daily ticket for yourself. also the fahrradkarte is a great deal if you use it a lot, but if you only take your bike occasionally the single trip bike ticket at 1,90 is cheaper

yeah the DB Monatskarte Fahrrad works on basically everything in Berlin's public transport system. u-bahn, s-bahn, trams, busses, and even the ferries - I've used mine on the F10 across Wannsee no problem. just don't try to take your bike during rush hour on the u-bahn, the drivers will give u a look and you might get kicked off if it's too packed

What is the correct spelling for a street name that appears differently on multiple signs in Charlottenburg?

I noticed that the street name is spelled differently on three separate signs in the Charlottenburg area. Can anyone confirm the correct official spelling and whether this is a known issue? Worth noting that Berlin street names have official umlaut and ß rules that trip people up, so a sign showing "Strasse" versus "Straße" is not actually a spelling error, just an older transcription. Same with "ue" versus "ü" (e.g. "Kantstrasse" vs "Kantstraße"), both are considered valid renderings and you'll see the ß version on the blue Schilder and the ss version on older plaques or in databases that predate Unicode. If the difference you're seeing is between those two forms, there's nothing to fix and both are technically correct.

if the signs u mean are the old enamel ones on the house facades those are often protected as Baudenkmal so nobody's allowed to correct them even if the spelling is outdated. the binding version is whatever is in the Berliner Strassenverzeichnis plus the entry in the Liegenschaftskataster, so if u tell me the street i can point u to the right Bezirksamt Mitte or Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf page. tbh the merged district thing is real but the facade signs are a separate story, theyre basically museum pieces at this point

honestly thats super common in Charlottenburg, the district offices were merged from older Bezirke and nobody ever fixed all the Schilder. if its a real street you can check the official strassenverzeichnis on berlin.de, that list is what the Burgeramt actually goes by. which street is it? some of the Kaiserdamm / Kantstrasse signs are notorious for this.
