People who don't use deo, i have just 1 question: why?

I honestly just want to learn. Is it a health thing? A return to nature? Cost? Is it that aluminium free kind? The ubahn smells like hot onions so a few people are forgoing a spray spray? yeah the deo thing is weird but i think the bigger culprit is the clothes. like people here wear the same merino wool shirt for a week straight cause it's "self cleaning" and that's just not true in 30 degree humidity. also berlin's got this whole anti-consumerist vibe where buying deodorant feels like selling out to the man, but then they'll drop 5 euros on a oat milk flat white without blinking. if u want the real experience skip the ubahn and hit the u2 between sophie-charlotte and deutsche oper around 9am, that's where the yoga moms meet the hungover tech bros and the air gets thick enough to cut with a butter knife.

some people genuinely don't smell themselves. like nose blindness is real, especially if they've been wearing the same jacket all winter and the scent just soaked into the fabric. i've had coworkers who shower daily but their coats are basically biohazards by february. also, the berlin winter vs summer thing is brutal, u go from freezing to 35 degrees in like a week and your body just panics. if u're curious, the m10 tram between warschauer and gesundbrunnen around 8am is a proper sensory experience, way worse than the ubahn tbh.

for some people it's the aluminum thing, they think deo causes breast cancer or clogs pores so they go natural but forget the "natural" part means u still gotta shower more often. also cost is real, a good deo here is like 3-4 euros and if u're broke that's a döner instead. but honestly the worst is the ones who layer on some cheap spray over old sweat, that's a whole new smell combo. try the u8 between alexanderplatz and hermannplatz around 6pm if u want the full spectrum.

What is the correct spelling for a street name that appears differently on multiple signs in Charlottenburg?

I noticed that the street name is spelled differently on three separate signs in the Charlottenburg area. Can anyone confirm the correct official spelling and whether this is a known issue? Worth noting that Berlin street names have official umlaut and ß rules that trip people up, so a sign showing "Strasse" versus "Straße" is not actually a spelling error, just an older transcription. Same with "ue" versus "ü" (e.g. "Kantstrasse" vs "Kantstraße"), both are considered valid renderings and you'll see the ß version on the blue Schilder and the ss version on older plaques or in databases that predate Unicode. If the difference you're seeing is between those two forms, there's nothing to fix and both are technically correct.

if the signs u mean are the old enamel ones on the house facades those are often protected as Baudenkmal so nobody's allowed to correct them even if the spelling is outdated. the binding version is whatever is in the Berliner Strassenverzeichnis plus the entry in the Liegenschaftskataster, so if u tell me the street i can point u to the right Bezirksamt Mitte or Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf page. tbh the merged district thing is real but the facade signs are a separate story, theyre basically museum pieces at this point

honestly thats super common in Charlottenburg, the district offices were merged from older Bezirke and nobody ever fixed all the Schilder. if its a real street you can check the official strassenverzeichnis on berlin.de, that list is what the Burgeramt actually goes by. which street is it? some of the Kaiserdamm / Kantstrasse signs are notorious for this.
