Are there any spots in/around berlin to watch perseid meteor shower?

the best spot i know is teufelsberg, the hill in grunewald. it's not pitch black but way darker than the city center, and the elevation helps. if you go up to the radar dome area (the paid part closes at night but the path around it is public) you get a solid view of the sky without too much light pollution. just bring a blanket and maybe a coffee from the späti on teufelsseechaussee before you head up

honestly teufelsberg is solid but if you want something even darker check out the fields near rahnsdorf on the mueggelsee side. take the s3 to friedrichshagen then walk east along the water towards the mueggelberge, theres a stretch of beach where the city lights are mostly blocked by the hills. i went last year around 1am and saw maybe 20-30 meteors an hour, not insane but def visible. just watch out for the occasional bike path, some people ride through there without lights

tbh the mohnikeweg viewing platform in the wuhlheide is underrated for this. it's not as known as teufelsberg so way less people, and the park's forest blocks a lot of the ambient light from köpenick. take the s3 to wuhlheide then walk 10 mins through the woods, the platform faces south so you get a clean sky away from the city center. i saw the geminids there a few years back and it was quiet enough to hear the leaves rustle between meteors

just check if the park gate is locked after dark, sometimes they close the main entrance at dusk but there's a side gap near the tram stop on hegenauallee that stays open

Worth noting that Berlin street names have official umlaut and ß rules that trip people up, so a sign showing "Strasse" versus "Straße" is not actually a spelling error, just an older transcription. Same with "ue" versus "ü" (e.g. "Kantstrasse" vs "Kantstraße"), both are considered valid renderings and you'll see the ß version on the blue Schilder and the ss version on older plaques or in databases that predate Unicode. If the difference you're seeing is between those two forms, there's nothing to fix and both are technically correct.

if the signs u mean are the old enamel ones on the house facades those are often protected as Baudenkmal so nobody's allowed to correct them even if the spelling is outdated. the binding version is whatever is in the Berliner Strassenverzeichnis plus the entry in the Liegenschaftskataster, so if u tell me the street i can point u to the right Bezirksamt Mitte or Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf page. tbh the merged district thing is real but the facade signs are a separate story, theyre basically museum pieces at this point

honestly thats super common in Charlottenburg, the district offices were merged from older Bezirke and nobody ever fixed all the Schilder. if its a real street you can check the official strassenverzeichnis on berlin.de, that list is what the Burgeramt actually goes by. which street is it? some of the Kaiserdamm / Kantstrasse signs are notorious for this.
