Can confirm. Took the HBX from Berlin to Wernigerode a few weeks ago with my Deutschlandticket – no issues. Just remember to have it ready for inspection. The Harz region is gorgeous, especially in the autumn. Have a great trip!

Yeah, I did that trip last month. Deutschlandticket worked perfectly on the HBX from Berlin to Quedlinburg. No problems whatsoever. Just make sure you validate your ticket before boarding, as always. Enjoy the Harz!

Nah, I haven't heard any specific ghost stories about the Otto-Wels-Haus, but @Berlin has a ton of spooky history in general. The city's practically built on layers of it.
