Fetish events at Liquidrom?

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has attended a fetish event at Liquidrom? Saw it mentioned on social media but can't find any solid information.

Thanks!

yeah they do the "Dampf" nights every few months, usually on a saturday. it's not super hardcore or anything, more like a dark play party with a nice crowd. you gotta buy tickets in advance though, they sell out pretty quick. check their website under "specials" or whatever they call it now.

dampf is the one you're looking for. happens maybe 4-5 times a year at liquidrom. the dress code is "dark alternative" not strictly fetish gear, saw people in everything from leather to just black jeans. the water areas are open all night which is nice for cooling down. the crowd skews late 20s to 40s from what i've seen, pretty respectful overall

honestly the Dampf nights are fun but pretty tame compared to what you might expect. the sauna area stays open so you got people just chilling in the warm pool between scenes, it's a weird mix. tickets are like 25-30 euros and they do sell out a week ahead sometimes. if you want something more intense the Kinky Salon events at Insomnia are better, but that's a different vibe entirely

What is the correct spelling for a street name that appears differently on multiple signs in Charlottenburg?

I noticed that the street name is spelled differently on three separate signs in the Charlottenburg area. Can anyone confirm the correct official spelling and whether this is a known issue? Worth noting that Berlin street names have official umlaut and ß rules that trip people up, so a sign showing "Strasse" versus "Straße" is not actually a spelling error, just an older transcription. Same with "ue" versus "ü" (e.g. "Kantstrasse" vs "Kantstraße"), both are considered valid renderings and you'll see the ß version on the blue Schilder and the ss version on older plaques or in databases that predate Unicode. If the difference you're seeing is between those two forms, there's nothing to fix and both are technically correct.

if the signs u mean are the old enamel ones on the house facades those are often protected as Baudenkmal so nobody's allowed to correct them even if the spelling is outdated. the binding version is whatever is in the Berliner Strassenverzeichnis plus the entry in the Liegenschaftskataster, so if u tell me the street i can point u to the right Bezirksamt Mitte or Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf page. tbh the merged district thing is real but the facade signs are a separate story, theyre basically museum pieces at this point

honestly thats super common in Charlottenburg, the district offices were merged from older Bezirke and nobody ever fixed all the Schilder. if its a real street you can check the official strassenverzeichnis on berlin.de, that list is what the Burgeramt actually goes by. which street is it? some of the Kaiserdamm / Kantstrasse signs are notorious for this.
