Where to find EBN/Aggrotech clubs in Berlin?

I've heard a lot about gothic sub culture in Berlin(one of the reasons I'm excited about it), but on Google nothing shows up when I look up EBM/Aggrotech clubs. Can some local please tell me if these clubs exist and where they are??? Thank you πŸ˜ŠπŸ™

tbh you're better off checking the actual club calendars than searching by genre. kitkatclub has a regular monday night called "industrial monday" that leans heavy into ebm and aggrotech, it's been running for years. just be aware the door policy there is selective, dress the part if you're going

for a more underground vibe, check out the "schwarze szene" listings on the "darkmoments" site, they aggregate all the electro-goth events across berlin. most of these nights start after midnight and run til morning, so plan your u-bahn route accordingly since the night trains are less frequent after 1am

yeah the other commenter's right about not finding stuff on google. if you're here in august you might catch katz & koffer at suicide circus, they do a solid ebm/industrial night that flies under the radar. also check out the schokoladen near u-bhf rosa-luxemburg-platz, it's a tiny venue but they sometimes book aggrotech acts when the bigger clubs are doing techno instead. for specific dates, look up "industrial berlin" on resident advisor, not google maps

honestly you're overthinking it with the search terms, berlin doesn't really label clubs by genre that way. for ebm and aggrotech your best bet is checking out Suicide Circus or About Blank, they both have regular nights that play that sound. also look up the event pages for "Schwarze Nacht" or "Gothic Night" at those clubs, they're not always obvious from the outside

oh and check out the "Goth City Berlin" facebook group, they post actual fliers with set times. most clubs don't update their google listings for specific genre nights so you gotta dig a bit

What is the correct spelling for a street name that appears differently on multiple signs in Charlottenburg?

I noticed that the street name is spelled differently on three separate signs in the Charlottenburg area. Can anyone confirm the correct official spelling and whether this is a known issue? Worth noting that Berlin street names have official umlaut and ß rules that trip people up, so a sign showing "Strasse" versus "Straße" is not actually a spelling error, just an older transcription. Same with "ue" versus "ü" (e.g. "Kantstrasse" vs "Kantstraße"), both are considered valid renderings and you'll see the ß version on the blue Schilder and the ss version on older plaques or in databases that predate Unicode. If the difference you're seeing is between those two forms, there's nothing to fix and both are technically correct.

if the signs u mean are the old enamel ones on the house facades those are often protected as Baudenkmal so nobody's allowed to correct them even if the spelling is outdated. the binding version is whatever is in the Berliner Strassenverzeichnis plus the entry in the Liegenschaftskataster, so if u tell me the street i can point u to the right Bezirksamt Mitte or Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf page. tbh the merged district thing is real but the facade signs are a separate story, theyre basically museum pieces at this point

honestly thats super common in Charlottenburg, the district offices were merged from older Bezirke and nobody ever fixed all the Schilder. if its a real street you can check the official strassenverzeichnis on berlin.de, that list is what the Burgeramt actually goes by. which street is it? some of the Kaiserdamm / Kantstrasse signs are notorious for this.
