Any bar/pub/place in Berlin that would stream League of Legends World Championship?

fwiw riot usually sets up an official viewing party at their own hq in unter den linden during worlds, they open the lobby with a big screen and a bar. no ticket needed just show up, but check their socials for dates cause its not every match. beer's a bit pricier there like 6-7 euro but the vibe is way more chill than meltdown

if that doesnt work there's a place called the barn in friedrichshain, theyre a craft beer spot that sometimes does random sports on their projector. not an esports bar but if u ask nicely they might put it on one of the smaller tvs, and your friends can enjoy actual good beer while u watch

honestly your best bet is probably one of the esports bars that pop up around riot events. there's a place called meltdown bar in mitte, they do league streams all the time and usually have sound on for big matches. beer's around 4-5 euro and theyve got a big projector in the back

if meltdown is packed (it will be during worlds) try belushi's near alexanderplatz, they show esports on their screens sometimes and the crowd is more mixed so ur non-fan friends wont feel out of place. just call ahead to check theyre actually streaming it that day

Yeah Meltdown is the obvious one but it gets absolutely slammed. There's also a place called Hooters near Zoologischer Garten that shows esports sometimes, not super authentic but they have loads of screens and the beer flows.

Worth noting that Berlin street names have official umlaut and ß rules that trip people up, so a sign showing "Strasse" versus "Straße" is not actually a spelling error, just an older transcription. Same with "ue" versus "ü" (e.g. "Kantstrasse" vs "Kantstraße"), both are considered valid renderings and you'll see the ß version on the blue Schilder and the ss version on older plaques or in databases that predate Unicode. If the difference you're seeing is between those two forms, there's nothing to fix and both are technically correct.

if the signs u mean are the old enamel ones on the house facades those are often protected as Baudenkmal so nobody's allowed to correct them even if the spelling is outdated. the binding version is whatever is in the Berliner Strassenverzeichnis plus the entry in the Liegenschaftskataster, so if u tell me the street i can point u to the right Bezirksamt Mitte or Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf page. tbh the merged district thing is real but the facade signs are a separate story, theyre basically museum pieces at this point

honestly thats super common in Charlottenburg, the district offices were merged from older Bezirke and nobody ever fixed all the Schilder. if its a real street you can check the official strassenverzeichnis on berlin.de, that list is what the Burgeramt actually goes by. which street is it? some of the Kaiserdamm / Kantstrasse signs are notorious for this.
