Where to get suit in Berlin?

I got invited to a Wedding but I dont own a suit. Can someone tell me where to get one. Shouldnt be too expensive ( <400€) I got invited to a Wedding but I dont own a suit. Can someone tell me where to get one. Shouldnt be too expensive ( <400€)

Suitsupply is a solid choice but if you want to stretch that 400 budget further, head to TK Maxx near Hackescher Markt. They get high-end brands like Hugo Boss or Tommy Hilfiger for around 200-300 if you dig through the racks. Just budget another 30-40 for alterations at a local Änderungsschneiderei, there's a good one on Schönhauser Allee near the Edeka. Navy or charcoal grey will work for any wedding and you'll actually wear it again.

check out suitsupply on torstraße, they have decent stuff around 300-400 if you catch a sale. or hit up c&a for something basic under 200, honestly fine for a wedding

if you're open to secondhand, pick & weight on torstraße has solid vintage suits that look way more expensive than they are. usually around 150-250 and you can get it tailored for another 50 at the shop next door. also, peek und cloppenburg at alexanderplatz has their house brand stuff that goes on sale pretty often, saw a decent navy suit for 350 last week

What is the correct spelling for a street name that appears differently on multiple signs in Charlottenburg?

I noticed that the street name is spelled differently on three separate signs in the Charlottenburg area. Can anyone confirm the correct official spelling and whether this is a known issue? Worth noting that Berlin street names have official umlaut and ß rules that trip people up, so a sign showing "Strasse" versus "Straße" is not actually a spelling error, just an older transcription. Same with "ue" versus "ü" (e.g. "Kantstrasse" vs "Kantstraße"), both are considered valid renderings and you'll see the ß version on the blue Schilder and the ss version on older plaques or in databases that predate Unicode. If the difference you're seeing is between those two forms, there's nothing to fix and both are technically correct.

if the signs u mean are the old enamel ones on the house facades those are often protected as Baudenkmal so nobody's allowed to correct them even if the spelling is outdated. the binding version is whatever is in the Berliner Strassenverzeichnis plus the entry in the Liegenschaftskataster, so if u tell me the street i can point u to the right Bezirksamt Mitte or Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf page. tbh the merged district thing is real but the facade signs are a separate story, theyre basically museum pieces at this point

honestly thats super common in Charlottenburg, the district offices were merged from older Bezirke and nobody ever fixed all the Schilder. if its a real street you can check the official strassenverzeichnis on berlin.de, that list is what the Burgeramt actually goes by. which street is it? some of the Kaiserdamm / Kantstrasse signs are notorious for this.
