Where can I get weed in Berlin?

I'm doing a summer abroad here in Berlin and looking to buy some weed. I know it's now legal to smoke but not to sell or buy. Does anyone know a plug or a spot to get weed? yeah so the legal thing is technically you can carry up to 25g and grow at home but buying is still a no no, which makes it weird. if u wanna skip the whole club waitlist thing, try the cannabis social club in schöneberg called "green heart" or something, they do events where u can meet growers directly. otherwise, honestly, just walk around the kotti (kottbusser tor) area late evening, not the park itself but the side streets like oranienstraße, there's always someone hanging by the spätis who'll point u the right way. expect to pay 10-12 a gram and don't be surprised if they only sell in 2g min. also check the little notice boards at some vegan cafes in friedrichshain, people post "organic homegrown" flyers sometimes, it's a bit hippie but works.

If you're here for the whole summer, getting registered at a social club is worth the paperwork, but don't expect it to be instant. The waiting lists at the more established ones in Kreuzberg can be a few weeks, so sign up early and treat it like a backup plan. For the short term, your best bet is actually the smaller parks off the main drag, like the strip along the Landwehrkanal near the Admiralbrücke, not Görlitzer where the cops do random checks. People hang out there after work with a grill and a joint, and if you just sit nearby with your own beer, someone will usually wave you over. Also, don't sleep on the weekend flea markets at Boxhagener Platz, the vibe is relaxed and there are always a few older guys selling homegrown on the edges, just don't be flashy about it. Prices are pretty standard at 10 to 12 euros per gram for decent stuff, anything under that is usually shake.

The legal situation is still messy, so most people here just rely on word of mouth. Have you checked out the Telegram groups for Berlin? Search for terms like "Berlin social club" or "Cannabis Berlin" and you'll find channels where people post meetups and share contacts, it's less sketchy than wandering a park. Otherwise, hit up a smaller Späti in Wedding or Moabit, the guys there are usually more laid back than in Kreuzberg and might point you to a private dealer who delivers. Expect to pay 12 to 15 euros a gram for decent flower, and avoid anyone who insists on meeting near a U-Bahn station, cops have been doing spot checks around those.

What is the correct spelling for a street name that appears differently on multiple signs in Charlottenburg?

I noticed that the street name is spelled differently on three separate signs in the Charlottenburg area. Can anyone confirm the correct official spelling and whether this is a known issue? Worth noting that Berlin street names have official umlaut and ß rules that trip people up, so a sign showing "Strasse" versus "Straße" is not actually a spelling error, just an older transcription. Same with "ue" versus "ü" (e.g. "Kantstrasse" vs "Kantstraße"), both are considered valid renderings and you'll see the ß version on the blue Schilder and the ss version on older plaques or in databases that predate Unicode. If the difference you're seeing is between those two forms, there's nothing to fix and both are technically correct.

if the signs u mean are the old enamel ones on the house facades those are often protected as Baudenkmal so nobody's allowed to correct them even if the spelling is outdated. the binding version is whatever is in the Berliner Strassenverzeichnis plus the entry in the Liegenschaftskataster, so if u tell me the street i can point u to the right Bezirksamt Mitte or Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf page. tbh the merged district thing is real but the facade signs are a separate story, theyre basically museum pieces at this point

honestly thats super common in Charlottenburg, the district offices were merged from older Bezirke and nobody ever fixed all the Schilder. if its a real street you can check the official strassenverzeichnis on berlin.de, that list is what the Burgeramt actually goes by. which street is it? some of the Kaiserdamm / Kantstrasse signs are notorious for this.
