Can we transport escooter in sbahn and DB trains?

Recently i heard that BVG has banned escooters on all BVG transport, so does that applies to sbahn also? What about the regional transport trains? Recently i heard that BVG has banned escooters on all BVG transport, so does that applies to sbahn also? What about the regional transport trains?

Exactly, the BVG ban only covers U-Bahn, buses, and trams. S-Bahn is run by DB, not BVG, so their rules are different. For S-Bahn and regional trains, e-scooters are allowed if they're folded and you treat them as hand luggage. Just make sure the battery is securely attached and the scooter isn't blocking the aisle or doors. I've seen people get warned by the S-Bahn staff for leaving them unfolded near the doors during rush hour on the Ringbahn, so keep it tucked away.

the bvg ban only covers their own stuff (u-bahn, buses, trams). sbahn and db regional trains are separate, they still allow escooters as long as they fold and you treat them like luggage. no riding them on platforms or inside the train though, that'll get u kicked off fast. just keep it folded and out of the way in the designated areas near the doors and you're fine

yeah the other replies are right, bvg ban is just their stuff. but something people dont mention enough - if you're taking an ICE or other long distance DB train, the rules are a bit stricter. they require the scooter to be under a certain size when folded, like 100x70cm total or something. i've seen conductors measure them on the re3 to cottbus once, not a fun conversation. sbahn is more chill, just keep it folded and out of the way near the bike areas.

What is the correct spelling for a street name that appears differently on multiple signs in Charlottenburg?

I noticed that the street name is spelled differently on three separate signs in the Charlottenburg area. Can anyone confirm the correct official spelling and whether this is a known issue? Worth noting that Berlin street names have official umlaut and ß rules that trip people up, so a sign showing "Strasse" versus "Straße" is not actually a spelling error, just an older transcription. Same with "ue" versus "ü" (e.g. "Kantstrasse" vs "Kantstraße"), both are considered valid renderings and you'll see the ß version on the blue Schilder and the ss version on older plaques or in databases that predate Unicode. If the difference you're seeing is between those two forms, there's nothing to fix and both are technically correct.

if the signs u mean are the old enamel ones on the house facades those are often protected as Baudenkmal so nobody's allowed to correct them even if the spelling is outdated. the binding version is whatever is in the Berliner Strassenverzeichnis plus the entry in the Liegenschaftskataster, so if u tell me the street i can point u to the right Bezirksamt Mitte or Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf page. tbh the merged district thing is real but the facade signs are a separate story, theyre basically museum pieces at this point

honestly thats super common in Charlottenburg, the district offices were merged from older Bezirke and nobody ever fixed all the Schilder. if its a real street you can check the official strassenverzeichnis on berlin.de, that list is what the Burgeramt actually goes by. which street is it? some of the Kaiserdamm / Kantstrasse signs are notorious for this.
