Fried Chicken?

Hello everyone. Can someone please recommend a good fried chicken fast food place or restaurant? I've been craving KFC, lol, but it's not good. Very appreciated 🥹 Hello everyone. Since nobody mentioned it yet, there's a spot called Hangry's in Neukolln that does Nashville hot chicken. It's a small place on Weserstrasse, not a chain, and they actually season the breading instead of just dumping sauce on top. Their medium spice level has real heat but won't ruin your day. Open until late too, which helps when the craving hits after 10pm.

if you're near friedrichshain, try golden chicken on warschauer str. it's a tiny turkish place that does whole fried chickens with really good seasoning, not that dry bland stuff. they give you a decent portion for like 8 euros and it's open pretty late. way better than waiting at kfc for something that's been sitting under a heat lamp forever.

honestly just skip the chains and hit up fried chicken corner at markthalle neun in kreuzberg, they do it thursdays and saturdays and it's legit crispy on the outside juicy inside. not a sit-down spot though, more of a grab-and-go thing while you wander the market. if u want a proper plate with sides, go to the bird near nollendorfplatz like someone said, but their korean-style wings are the real move there.

What is the correct spelling for a street name that appears differently on multiple signs in Charlottenburg?

I noticed that the street name is spelled differently on three separate signs in the Charlottenburg area. Can anyone confirm the correct official spelling and whether this is a known issue? Worth noting that Berlin street names have official umlaut and ß rules that trip people up, so a sign showing "Strasse" versus "Straße" is not actually a spelling error, just an older transcription. Same with "ue" versus "ü" (e.g. "Kantstrasse" vs "Kantstraße"), both are considered valid renderings and you'll see the ß version on the blue Schilder and the ss version on older plaques or in databases that predate Unicode. If the difference you're seeing is between those two forms, there's nothing to fix and both are technically correct.

if the signs u mean are the old enamel ones on the house facades those are often protected as Baudenkmal so nobody's allowed to correct them even if the spelling is outdated. the binding version is whatever is in the Berliner Strassenverzeichnis plus the entry in the Liegenschaftskataster, so if u tell me the street i can point u to the right Bezirksamt Mitte or Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf page. tbh the merged district thing is real but the facade signs are a separate story, theyre basically museum pieces at this point

honestly thats super common in Charlottenburg, the district offices were merged from older Bezirke and nobody ever fixed all the Schilder. if its a real street you can check the official strassenverzeichnis on berlin.de, that list is what the Burgeramt actually goes by. which street is it? some of the Kaiserdamm / Kantstrasse signs are notorious for this.
