Does anyone know a CFS/Post Covid/chronically ill telegram or community specifically for Berlin?

But as I intend to move to Berlin this winter, I wonder if y'all know of some resources. (:

The Charité has a Post Covid Ambulanz but you need a Überweisung and they triage hard, so a ME/CFS diagnosis on paper helps get you through the door. For the day to day stuff the Selbsthilfe scene is actually decent, there's a group that meets at the Stadtbibliothek in Mitte once a month and a lot of it is just people swapping which Ärzte don't gaslight you. If you're moving in winter, get your Hausarzt sorted in the first weeks because everything downstream depends on those referrals.

honestly the doctor situation you described is pretty much the standard here, esp for anything post-viral. one thing that helps is getting a Hausarzt who's at least willing to write Überweisungen without arguing, then you collect specialists one by one. for CFS specifically there's a Selbsthilfe group that meets around Charlottenburg, I think it's tied to the Fatigatio Landesverband Berlin, they have a Kontaktgruppe list on their site.

also join the Berlin Long COVID groups on Facebook, they're more active than telegram for this and people constantly trade doctor names. the waiting times for a decent Immunologe here are brutal tho, like 6+ months, so start lining stuff up before you even move if you can.

if u end up in akiez or neukölln there's a hausarztpraxis on weserstr that's been decent about post viral stuff, at least for überweisungen without the depression lecture. for the waiting game, call 116117 and ask specifically for internisten with a fatigue focus, sometimes they have slots the online portals hide. also check the berlin subreddit wiki, someone compiled a running list of clinics that don't dismiss ME/CFS out of hand, updated fairly recently

What is the correct spelling for a street name that appears differently on multiple signs in Charlottenburg?

I noticed that the street name is spelled differently on three separate signs in the Charlottenburg area. Can anyone confirm the correct official spelling and whether this is a known issue? Worth noting that Berlin street names have official umlaut and ß rules that trip people up, so a sign showing "Strasse" versus "Straße" is not actually a spelling error, just an older transcription. Same with "ue" versus "ü" (e.g. "Kantstrasse" vs "Kantstraße"), both are considered valid renderings and you'll see the ß version on the blue Schilder and the ss version on older plaques or in databases that predate Unicode. If the difference you're seeing is between those two forms, there's nothing to fix and both are technically correct.

if the signs u mean are the old enamel ones on the house facades those are often protected as Baudenkmal so nobody's allowed to correct them even if the spelling is outdated. the binding version is whatever is in the Berliner Strassenverzeichnis plus the entry in the Liegenschaftskataster, so if u tell me the street i can point u to the right Bezirksamt Mitte or Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf page. tbh the merged district thing is real but the facade signs are a separate story, theyre basically museum pieces at this point

honestly thats super common in Charlottenburg, the district offices were merged from older Bezirke and nobody ever fixed all the Schilder. if its a real street you can check the official strassenverzeichnis on berlin.de, that list is what the Burgeramt actually goes by. which street is it? some of the Kaiserdamm / Kantstrasse signs are notorious for this.
