By this i mean fans showing up days before the concert starts to camp infront of the venue to insure a spot close to the stage? Or fans showing up early in the morning for the same reason? Have u ever seen or done this and what are the rules about this at zitadelle spandau? Cant find anything about this specific online help me out! :) advice and tips are welcome How many hours would u recommend to show up for a spot infront of the stage. I usually go a couple hours in advance where i live. But i dont want to get surprised by campers

Camping overnight isn't really a thing at Zitadelle Spandau. It's a former fortress with a moat and brick walls, and the grounds get locked down between events, so there's nowhere to actually pitch up. What does happen is people showing up early on the day, especially for bigger names. The entrance is off Am Juliusturm, and the walk from Zitadelle station on the U7 is short, so you'll see the queue forming along that stretch from mid morning. For a spot at the front I'd aim for gates opening rather than hours before, since the standing area there isn't huge and it fills fast once the first support act starts.

tbh german fans do queue culture pretty seriously but its mostly for pop/rock acts with a dedicated fanbase, think people with numbered wristbands they hand out themselves among the queue. at Zitadelle its a bit different cause its an open air in a fortress courtyard, so the vibe is more picnic than moshpit. for most shows there you can roll up 1 to 2 hours before doors and still get close, the stage is low and the crowd spreads out on the grass. only exception is if its a big name where the fanclub organizes, then ppl might start queuing from like 10am but theyre not sleeping there, they just rotate in shifts.

What is the correct spelling for a street name that appears differently on multiple signs in Charlottenburg?

I noticed that the street name is spelled differently on three separate signs in the Charlottenburg area. Can anyone confirm the correct official spelling and whether this is a known issue? Worth noting that Berlin street names have official umlaut and ß rules that trip people up, so a sign showing "Strasse" versus "Straße" is not actually a spelling error, just an older transcription. Same with "ue" versus "ü" (e.g. "Kantstrasse" vs "Kantstraße"), both are considered valid renderings and you'll see the ß version on the blue Schilder and the ss version on older plaques or in databases that predate Unicode. If the difference you're seeing is between those two forms, there's nothing to fix and both are technically correct.

if the signs u mean are the old enamel ones on the house facades those are often protected as Baudenkmal so nobody's allowed to correct them even if the spelling is outdated. the binding version is whatever is in the Berliner Strassenverzeichnis plus the entry in the Liegenschaftskataster, so if u tell me the street i can point u to the right Bezirksamt Mitte or Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf page. tbh the merged district thing is real but the facade signs are a separate story, theyre basically museum pieces at this point

honestly thats super common in Charlottenburg, the district offices were merged from older Bezirke and nobody ever fixed all the Schilder. if its a real street you can check the official strassenverzeichnis on berlin.de, that list is what the Burgeramt actually goes by. which street is it? some of the Kaiserdamm / Kantstrasse signs are notorious for this.
