i would like to test the pioneer cdj 3000 and the a9 mixer and see if its worth spending so much money so i would like to test it to see. where can you do this in berlin? i would like to test the pioneer cdj 3000 and the a9 mixer and see if its worth spending so much money so i would like to test it to see. where can you do this in berlin?

If you're near Neukölln, check out Funkhaus Berlin on Nalepastraße. They've got a couple of studios with the full Pioneer setup that you can book by the hour, it's around 20 euros and you get the whole room to yourself. The place is huge and has a nice vibe, plus you can grab a coffee at the cafe downstairs while you're there. Just send them an email a few days ahead to reserve the CDJ 3000 room specifically.

honestly just go to Music Store Professional in Charlottenburg, they have a whole room set up with the 3000s and A9. you can book a slot for free, just call ahead to make sure the gear isn't being used for a workshop. they usually let you play for like 30-60 mins, but if it's quiet they'll let you stay longer. way better than trying to find a rental place that charges for an hour

third spot worth knowing is Decks.de in Kreuzberg, they have a demo room with the 3000s and A9 but it's by appointment only. they're a big online shop but their showroom's chill, email them a day or two before and they'll set you up for like an hour no charge. just fyi they're on Oranienstraße near Kotti, easy to get to on the U8

What is the correct spelling for a street name that appears differently on multiple signs in Charlottenburg?

I noticed that the street name is spelled differently on three separate signs in the Charlottenburg area. Can anyone confirm the correct official spelling and whether this is a known issue? Worth noting that Berlin street names have official umlaut and ß rules that trip people up, so a sign showing "Strasse" versus "Straße" is not actually a spelling error, just an older transcription. Same with "ue" versus "ü" (e.g. "Kantstrasse" vs "Kantstraße"), both are considered valid renderings and you'll see the ß version on the blue Schilder and the ss version on older plaques or in databases that predate Unicode. If the difference you're seeing is between those two forms, there's nothing to fix and both are technically correct.

if the signs u mean are the old enamel ones on the house facades those are often protected as Baudenkmal so nobody's allowed to correct them even if the spelling is outdated. the binding version is whatever is in the Berliner Strassenverzeichnis plus the entry in the Liegenschaftskataster, so if u tell me the street i can point u to the right Bezirksamt Mitte or Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf page. tbh the merged district thing is real but the facade signs are a separate story, theyre basically museum pieces at this point

honestly thats super common in Charlottenburg, the district offices were merged from older Bezirke and nobody ever fixed all the Schilder. if its a real street you can check the official strassenverzeichnis on berlin.de, that list is what the Burgeramt actually goes by. which street is it? some of the Kaiserdamm / Kantstrasse signs are notorious for this.
