the einbürgerungszentrum on friedrich-krause-ufer did open back in april, it's in the old wedding post office building. from what i've heard from people who've been through it recently, they're still working through the backlog more than seeing faster times yet. i'd say if you're already established in berlin with all your documents ready, staying put is fine, but if you're early in the process and flexible, moving to a smaller city like leipzig or potsdam could shave off months easily
yeah it opened in april at the old post office on friedrich-krause-ufer in wedding. i know someone who submitted in june and got their appointment for december, so times are still long but at least there's a system now. if you're eligible under the new law and have everything ready, i'd just submit here rather than restarting somewhere else, the smaller cities also have backlogs just less visible
