last week I went to Munich/München and spent 2 days working from a Café called „Lost weekend".
It's a cafe with awesome WiFi, power outlets, music and many seats to sit down and work. It was basically a student co-working space for free. Every evening they also had events like standup comedy, a discussion, a speaker etc.
Is there anything similar in Berlin that comes close to that experience? I have tried some cafes here yet, but none of them come close. They are either too small or too quiet to also have a phone call or cost a lot of money to get a table.
Any advice or recommendation is appreciated!

oh you're looking for that lost weekend vibe. check out betahaus in kreuzberg near moritzplatz. it's basically a coworking space but you can just buy a coffee and hang out all day, good wifi and lots of outlets. they do events too, talks and workshops and stuff, not always comedy but similar energy.
another one is st. oberholz near rosa-luxemburg-platz. it's a bit more polished but same idea, big space, reliable wifi, people working on laptops everywhere. they have a basement area that's quieter for calls if you need it.
if you want the cheap student vibe with events, try c-base in mitte. it's a weird spaceship-themed hacker space, 5 euro donation gets you in all day, they have meetups and talks almost every night. not a cafe but same free working spirit.
yeah i know what you mean, lost weekend is a special spot. check out cafe neumann in friedrichshain, it's got that same messy student energy, power outlets everywhere and you can grab a table for hours with just a coffee. they do small concerts and readings sometimes too, nothing fancy but it works.
honestly, if you liked lost weekend, try sisyphos near frankfurter allee. it's a club but during the day the garden area is open and people work there with laptops, good wifi, cheap drinks. feels a bit like that same chaotic creative energy minus the comedy shows.
for something more cafe-like, check out cafe tata in neukolln on weserstr. it's big, lots of tables, never too quiet for a call, and the wifi holds up. they have events sometimes but not every night like lost weekend.
if you want the event side specifically, look up aufsturz on oranienburger str. it's a bar with readings and comedy and stuff, more pub than cafe but you can work there during the day before things kick off.

yeah the guide's got the main stuff down, one thing i'd add is that the späti culture is legit for saving money but specifically the ones in kreuzberg near kottbusser tor have the cheapest beers, like 0.80 eur for a can of sterni. also if you're doing the sunday museum thing, skip the pergamon queue and go to the hamburger bahnhof instead, it's way less crowded and has cool contemporary art plus the building itself is a converted train station so it's a vibe
for food, i'd say the best budget move is not the döner but the falafel at yafa on sonnenallee, 4 eur for a massive plate and it's open till late. and tbh the reichstag booking is a pain but if you miss it, the rooftop at the kollhoff tower near potsdamer platz is like 4 eur and gives you a solid view without the hassle
solid write-up, one thing i'd add is that the 7-day ticket is actually 41 eur for AB but you can get a 4-trip ticket for 12 eur if you're only here a couple days and it works out cheaper than single trips. also the museum sunday freebie is great but it gets packed, like at the pergamon you'll be queuing for 30 mins minimum. for a quieter free option, try the brücke museum in grunewald on a weekday afternoon, it's small but has killer expressionist art and no crowds. oh and for a cheap meal, hit up mustafa's gemüse kebab at mehringdamm, that line is long but it's worth the 5 eur for the hype tbh
