What's the crackiest Ferry line?

Almost got stabbed on the F23 once Almost got stabbed on the F23 once

The F21 from Oberschoneweide to Rahnsdorf has a special kind of menace because it's basically the last boat before the Müggelsee gets really sketchy at night. I've seen people use it as a mobile karaoke bar more than once, and the driver on the late shift has a personal rule about not stopping for anyone running late after 11pm. Also the waiting area at Rahnsdorf smells like wet dog and regret, which I think adds to the experience.

lol F23 is def up there but honestly the F10 from Wannsee to Kladow is its own kind of chaos. way longer crossing so you get more time for weird shit to happen, plus the Kladow end feels like stepping into a 90s time warp. one time i saw a guy try to pay his fare with a bag of apples, driver just shrugged and let him on

F23 is a classic for a reason but the F12 from Schoneberg to Treptow has this weird energy where half the people look like they're on their way to a funeral and the other half look like they just escaped one. the captain once stopped mid-route to yell at some kids for vaping and we all just sat there in silence for like ten minutes. also the ticket machine on that line has been broken since 2019 so it's basically a free ride if you know the trick

What is the correct spelling for a street name that appears differently on multiple signs in Charlottenburg?

I noticed that the street name is spelled differently on three separate signs in the Charlottenburg area. Can anyone confirm the correct official spelling and whether this is a known issue? Worth noting that Berlin street names have official umlaut and ß rules that trip people up, so a sign showing "Strasse" versus "Straße" is not actually a spelling error, just an older transcription. Same with "ue" versus "ü" (e.g. "Kantstrasse" vs "Kantstraße"), both are considered valid renderings and you'll see the ß version on the blue Schilder and the ss version on older plaques or in databases that predate Unicode. If the difference you're seeing is between those two forms, there's nothing to fix and both are technically correct.

if the signs u mean are the old enamel ones on the house facades those are often protected as Baudenkmal so nobody's allowed to correct them even if the spelling is outdated. the binding version is whatever is in the Berliner Strassenverzeichnis plus the entry in the Liegenschaftskataster, so if u tell me the street i can point u to the right Bezirksamt Mitte or Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf page. tbh the merged district thing is real but the facade signs are a separate story, theyre basically museum pieces at this point

honestly thats super common in Charlottenburg, the district offices were merged from older Bezirke and nobody ever fixed all the Schilder. if its a real street you can check the official strassenverzeichnis on berlin.de, that list is what the Burgeramt actually goes by. which street is it? some of the Kaiserdamm / Kantstrasse signs are notorious for this.
