Is there any German native speaker can help to teach the German language ?

Will teach english back. Speaking is most important. Will teach english back. Speaking is most important.

The tandem apps get mentioned a lot but there's also the Tandem partner service run through some Bezirksämter, Mitte and Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg both have listings, you just email the Sprachberatung and they match you up. Slower than swiping but the people who sign up are usually in it for the long haul, not one coffee and gone. If you specifically want a native who'll correct your grammar on the spot, look for a DaF student at HU or FU who needs English for a semester abroad, they're motivated and you can meet twice a week at a café near Hackescher Markt without it turning into a paid arrangement.

tbh tandem apps are hit or miss for speaking practice. what actually worked for me was the Sprachtandem board at the Zentralbibliothek in Mitte, people pin little notes with their level and what they wanna swap. or check Meetup for "Deutsch Englisch Stammtisch" groups, there's a few that meet weekly in Kreuzberg bars and it's just chatting over a beer. way less awkward than structured lessons if speaking is the main thing u want.

maybe look for a Sprachcafé in your Kiez, they pop up in libraries and cafés all over. not really 1 on 1 but you talk a lot.

What is the correct spelling for a street name that appears differently on multiple signs in Charlottenburg?

I noticed that the street name is spelled differently on three separate signs in the Charlottenburg area. Can anyone confirm the correct official spelling and whether this is a known issue? Worth noting that Berlin street names have official umlaut and ß rules that trip people up, so a sign showing "Strasse" versus "Straße" is not actually a spelling error, just an older transcription. Same with "ue" versus "ü" (e.g. "Kantstrasse" vs "Kantstraße"), both are considered valid renderings and you'll see the ß version on the blue Schilder and the ss version on older plaques or in databases that predate Unicode. If the difference you're seeing is between those two forms, there's nothing to fix and both are technically correct.

if the signs u mean are the old enamel ones on the house facades those are often protected as Baudenkmal so nobody's allowed to correct them even if the spelling is outdated. the binding version is whatever is in the Berliner Strassenverzeichnis plus the entry in the Liegenschaftskataster, so if u tell me the street i can point u to the right Bezirksamt Mitte or Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf page. tbh the merged district thing is real but the facade signs are a separate story, theyre basically museum pieces at this point

honestly thats super common in Charlottenburg, the district offices were merged from older Bezirke and nobody ever fixed all the Schilder. if its a real street you can check the official strassenverzeichnis on berlin.de, that list is what the Burgeramt actually goes by. which street is it? some of the Kaiserdamm / Kantstrasse signs are notorious for this.
