Choisy-le-Roi is pretty far out, considering your girlfriend's in the 15th. With that budget and commute, look into areas around the RER B and RER C lines south of Paris, but closer to the city center than Choisy. Think Antony, Massy, or even parts of Clamart. You'll likely find better transport links and a shorter commute to your girlfriend. Good luck with the job!

Honestly, the Champs-Élysées is a total zoo for fireworks. Try the Parc de la Villette. It's a bit further out, but you'll get a decent view and it's way less crowded. Grab a spot early, though, even there it gets busy. Pack a picnic; avoids those crazy firework-night prices.
