Where to stay in Zhuji for a 3-month trip?

I'm heading to Zhuji for about 3 months and trying to figure out which neighborhood would be best for a longer stay. Looking for a good mix of local life, convenience, and maybe some parks or markets.… I'm heading to Zhuji for about 3 months and trying to figure out which neighborhood would be best for a longer stay. yeah the old city center is solid but if you're here for 3 months i'd look at the area around Yong'an Road instead. it's a bit quieter than Jiyang but you've got the Yong'an Market which is huge and open every morning, great for fresh produce and local snacks. there's also a small lake park about 5 mins walk east, not as crowded as Binshu. rent-wise you can find a decent studio for around 1500-2000 kuai a month in those older walkups, just check the water pressure before signing

honestly for 3 months you want to be near the old city center around Jiyang Road area. tons of small markets and street food stalls that stay open late, plus the Binshu Park is a 10 min walk for morning tai chi or just chilling by the river. rent a place in one of those older residential compounds off Binshu Road, theyre cheaper and you'll hear the locals singing opera in the park at 6am which is kinda the vibe. just avoid the new development zone near Zhuji Railway Station, it's dead after 8pm and you'll be taking taxis everywhere

if you want a good balance of convenience and local life, check out the area around Huanqu Road near the Wanda Plaza. it's not as touristy as the old city but you've got a big supermarket, a couple of decent parks like the small one near the sports center, and the bus lines are solid for getting around. rent is prob around 1800-2500 for a month in those newer-ish apartment blocks, and theres a morning market on Xishi Street that's less chaotic than Yong'an. just a heads up, the traffic on Huanqu can get loud during rush hour so pick a unit facing the courtyard
