Total daily budget of around 150-200 yuan is comfortable if you're not going crazy. For food, the street stalls around Daliangshan Street have excellent roast potatoes and buckwheat cakes for under 10 yuan each, and the local 凉粉 shops near the old town gate will fill you up for 15. If you're walking the lake path, it's about 7 km around so no bike rental needed unless you want to, and the botanical garden on the north side is free with nice shade. The Yi cultural park has a 30 yuan entry but it's worth it for the architecture alone, and you can catch local performances there on weekends at no extra charge.

fwiw you can save a ton on accommodation by staying in a hostel near the moon plaza rather than the lakefront hotels, those can be like 80-100 a night for a dorm vs 300+ for a room. for transport the bus is fine but honestly the city's small enough that walking between the old town and the lake is doable in like 25 mins, saves u the 2 yuan. also check if your hotel offers a discount on the satellite museum tickets, some places have partnerships and it drops to 45 yuan

honestly for food you can get by on like 50-60 kuai a day if you stick to the local noodle spots near the old town, those 羊肉米线 places are legit and filling. for transport the buses are only 2 yuan and they'll get u anywhere in the city, just grab a公交卡 from the station for convenience. sights like the Qionghai lake are free to walk around but renting a bike is like 30-40 for a few hours, prob worth it for the views. if you're hitting the satellite launch museum that's 60 yuan entry so budget extra for that day
