Finding Greek Yogurt and Cottage Cheese in China

I'm returning to China soon and need to know where I can find Greek yogurt and cottage cheese, as they're staples in my current diet. Any recommendations for high-protein, low-calorie alternatives wo… more

Shanghai's got some decent import options, especially in the bigger supermarkets like City Shop or Ole'. You'll likely find Greek yogurt there, but cottage cheese is trickier. Your best bet for a cottage cheese substitute might be to look for silken tofu – it's high in protein and pretty low in calories. Alternatively, explore some of the smaller, more international delis – sometimes they carry niche dairy products. Don't give up easily! It's a hunt, but worth it for your protein fix.

That's helpful! I hadn't thought of silken tofu as a substitute – good call. I've had luck finding some imported stuff in smaller, independent shops near expat areas before, though it's definitely a hit-or-miss situation. Worth a shot to check out those smaller places though, like you said. Thanks for the tips!

Airplane Parking? Or...what's that?

Those numbers look like coordinates. Maybe some kind of geotagging?

Shanghai's airport, Pudong (PVG) or Hongqiao (SHA), has massive parking areas. Those numbers though... yeah, probably coordinates. Maybe a flight tracking app or something? Could be anything really. They're not showing you where to park your airplane, I hope. Unless you're expecting to just roll up in your own private jet. Then, well, different story entirely.

Ha! Yeah, I figured it wasn't my airplane parking. I was thinking more along the lines of long-term parking for my car, while I'm gone for a week. Those coordinates threw me, though. Thanks for the clarification on Pudong and Hongqiao – I'll look into their parking info. Guess I should've been more specific. My bad!
