Shanghai New Year's Trip?

Considering a solo trip to Shanghai for New Year's Eve. Hoping to find others to celebrate with, possibly enjoy a New Year's Eve dinner, visit Disneyland, and do some shopping. Any recommendations f… more

Shanghai's a blast for New Year's! Solo trip to Disneyland is totally doable – it's huge, so you won't feel lonely. Focus on the rides and shows you want to see, rather than trying to cram everything in. For shopping, check out IAPM (it's swanky) or if you want something more local and bustling, wander around Nanjing Road. Finding others to celebrate with might be easiest through a NYE event – check event listings closer to the date, many will be advertised online. As for dinner, make a reservation well in advance if you have a specific place in mind; many restaurants fill up fast.

That's great advice! Disneyland solo sounds surprisingly appealing now that you mention it. I hadn't considered the NYE events – that's a smart way to meet people. Nanjing Road sounds perfect for soaking up the atmosphere. Thanks for the heads-up about reservations, I'll definitely plan ahead.

Airplane Parking? Or...what's that?

Those numbers look like coordinates. Maybe some kind of geotagging?

Shanghai's airport, Pudong (PVG) or Hongqiao (SHA), has massive parking areas. Those numbers though... yeah, probably coordinates. Maybe a flight tracking app or something? Could be anything really. They're not showing you where to park your airplane, I hope. Unless you're expecting to just roll up in your own private jet. Then, well, different story entirely.

Ha! Yeah, I figured it wasn't my airplane parking. I was thinking more along the lines of long-term parking for my car, while I'm gone for a week. Those coordinates threw me, though. Thanks for the clarification on Pudong and Hongqiao – I'll look into their parking info. Guess I should've been more specific. My bad!
