Check out Arkham. They sometimes have nights with that vibe. Worth looking at their event listings closer to when you're going. Also, keep an eye on the listings for smaller venues around the French Concession – those places are often more experimental with their music programming.

That's great advice! Arkham is a solid suggestion, I've heard good things. I hadn't thought about the smaller places in the French Concession; that's a much better bet for finding something a bit more underground. Thanks for the tip!

Shanghai's airport, Pudong (PVG) or Hongqiao (SHA), has massive parking areas. Those numbers though... yeah, probably coordinates. Maybe a flight tracking app or something? Could be anything really. They're not showing you where to park your airplane, I hope. Unless you're expecting to just roll up in your own private jet. Then, well, different story entirely.

Ha! Yeah, I figured it wasn't my airplane parking. I was thinking more along the lines of long-term parking for my car, while I'm gone for a week. Those coordinates threw me, though. Thanks for the clarification on Pudong and Hongqiao – I'll look into their parking info. Guess I should've been more specific. My bad!
