Budget tips for Rizhao trip?

Headed to Rizhao in two months and trying to figure out a realistic budget for food, transport, and sightseeing. Any tips on what to expect cost-wise? tbh the biggest money saver for me was staying a bit inland instead of right on the beach. places near yingbin road are like half the price of those seaview hotels and you're still only a 15 min bus ride from the water. for food, the seafood market near shijiu town lets u buy fresh catch and have it cooked at the stalls for like 10 yuan processing fee, way cheaper than restaurants. also skip the tourist boats at wanpingkou, they're like 80 yuan for a 20 min ride that just goes in circles.

honestly, if you're on a tight budget, skip the hotel breakfast and grab street food instead. the jianbing from carts near the east port area are like 6 yuan and way more filling than what you'd get in a cafe. for transport, renting a bike for like 20 yuan a day is actually cheaper than buses if you're just cruising the coastline, plus you can stop whenever u want. sightseeing-wise, the lighthouse scenic area is free and has way better views than the paid spots, just go early before the crowds hit around 10am

food is pretty cheap if you stick to the local spots near wanpingkou beach, like the little noodle shops on haiqu road where a bowl of la mian runs about 10-15 yuan. for transport, the buses are 1 yuan per ride and cover most of the coastline, so skip taxis unless you're in a rush. sightseeing wise, the free beaches like rizhao national forest park's shore are just as nice as the paid ones, just bring your own snacks since the on-site stuff is marked up
