head up to the old bridge near Meijiang, it's quiet in the morning and the light hits the water real nice. also check the hills around Longshan if u want a wider view of the city, the hike's short but worth it for sunset. honestly the night market near the train station has some cool street scenes too if you're into that kind of thing
if you're up for a bit of a drive, the terraced fields out near shuiche town are gorgeous in late afternoon, especially when the light catches the water. they're still active farms so it's pretty authentic, not some tourist setup. also the old alleyways behind the main market have some nice faded communist-era murals if you wander deep enough, just watch out for motorbikes
the old temple up on fengshan hill is pretty great if you want something different, the architecture contrasts nice with the modern stuff below. also the little lake at meishan park has some good reflections around dusk, not many people go there
