I showed up at noon once and the line was wrapped around the corner, probably a 20 minute wait. The pickled vegetables they serve with it have a nice chili kick that cuts through the fatty pork, and they'll give you extra broth on request if you ask nicely.

also if you're hitting the night market for dumplings, swing by the guy two stalls down who sells fried milk cubes. sounds weird but it's like a crispy custard bite, 5 RMB for six pieces. he only sets up after 8pm tho, earlier than that and you'll miss him
