Guangyuan trip budget help?

Headed to Guangyuan next month and trying to figure out a reasonable daily budget. Any tips on what to expect for food, transit, and sights? Headed to Guangyuan next month and trying to figure out a reasonable daily budget. Any tips on what to expect for food, transit, and sights?

honestly 150-200 a day is solid but if you're okay with skipping the big ticket stuff like tangjiahe, you can do it on 100. the riverfront night market near the phoenix mountain has grilled fish and beer for like 30 yuan total, and the cable car up the mountain is 20 yuan one way. buses stop running around 8pm so factor in a 10 yuan taxi if you're out late

tbh the existing budgets are pretty spot on but one thing people miss is that a lot of the smaller temples like huangze temple have combo tickets if you're doing multiple sights, saves u like 20 yuan. also the local bus route 2 goes right past the train station and the main pedestrian street, so you can just hop on that for 1 yuan instead of walking 20 mins. if you're into hiking, skip the cable car at phoenix mountain and just walk up, it's like 40 mins and the trail is nice, plus you'll save that 20 yuan for a beer at the top

guangyuan is pretty affordable honestly. for food, street stalls near the ancient city wall do great noodles for like 10-15 yuan, and a proper sit-down meal at a local spot like lao ma tou hotpot runs maybe 50-70 per person. transit is cheap, buses are 1 yuan and taxis start at 5 yuan, so you can get around the main sights for under 20 a day. if you're hitting huangze temple or the tangjiahe nature reserve, entry fees are around 50-80 yuan each, but the city itself is walkable and free for the most part. i'd budget 150-200 yuan a day for a comfortable trip without skimping
